Dr. Anne Davies, DAOM, L.Ac., Dipl.OM

Cupping & Gua Sha:

Both of these ancient healing techniques of traditional medicine are designed to intentionally create transitory therapeutic petechiae that produce an anti-inflammatory and immune protective effect that persists for days following a single treatment. The petechiae themselves normally fade in a couple of days. These techniques are not painful and provide immediate relief for many complaints. 8

Acupuncture normalizes physiological function and reduces pain.2,6 The needles themselves should not hurt. Dr Davies uses only the highest quality needles; Seirin brand “The Painless One.” Most of her patients just enjoy the relaxing ambiance of her clinic and take a nap on the comfy heated table. 30 Minute. 60 Minute and 90 minute appointments are available.

Dr Davies is a California State licensed and United States Nationally Board Certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist (NCCAOM). She combines the best of Traditional Chinese Medicine practices such as Acupuncture, Cupping and Gua Sha with modern advances in Chinese Herbal Medicine and Nutrition to help her patients reach their health goals.

Chinese Medicine was Dr Davies's first love and is her second career. Anne’s first career was Management Consulting. She lived and worked globally for several years providing professional management consulting services for many Fortune Global 500 companies. When correctly prescribed by a licensed professional; herbs can be used to prevent or treat many health complaints. Dr Davies stocks only the highest quality herbs that are advanced tested to ensure quality and safety. 7

How and when we nourish ourselves is just as important as what we actually eat. Many health complaints today are exacerbated by our eating habits on a daily basis. Sometimes even seemingly “healthy” food choices may not be good for our unique body and circumstances. There is a lot of hype in this area and it is easy to become confused. Combining the ancient principles of Chinese Medicine with the modern science of nutrition can help to allay this confusion.
